Register and bike with us

1. REGISTRATION

Registration is free. Register here on our website or via the BikeKIA mobile app. Once registered, you can use all shared bike schemes operated by ARRIVA Slovakia a.s. and nextbike in the world! Download the app and rent a BikeKIA bike.

THE PROCEDURE FOR CORRECT REGISTRATION IN THE APPLICATION:

  • Download the app to your smartphone and click "Register".
  • Select country - Slovakia and city - Žilina.
  • Accept the terms and conditions and GDPR.
  • Enter your phone number and click register.
  • A 6-digit PIN will be sent to you via SMS.
  • You will use this PIN to log in to your BikeKIA user account each time you log in again. To activate your account, you will need to enter your payment card details.

2. BIKE RENTAL

Rental is possible via the BikeKIA mobile app only for registered users. You can rent a maximum of 4 bikes at a time. To log in to the BikeKIA mobile app, enter the 6-digit PIN you received when you registered.

PROCEDURE:

  • Scan the QR code on the bike or enter the bike number.
  • The lock will open automatically.
  • Now you can take the bike out of the rack.

3. PARKING

If you need to take a break from cycling during your rental, you can unpark your BikeKIA in a safe place or at one of the 32 official rental locations.

PROCEDURE:

  • Confirm "PARKING" in the app.
  • Then press the lock located on the rear wheel and lock the bike.
  • To continue driving, confirm "OPEN LOCK".

4. RETURN

You can only return your BikeKIA bike at 32 official stations within the city of Žilina. In order to return the bike, lock the bike by pressing the lock on the rear wheel at one of the 32 stations.

PROCEDURE:

  • Push the bike into the rack and lock it by pressing the lock located on the rear wheel.
  • The borrowing in the app will be terminated automatically.

NO FREE STAND?

  • Return the bike next to the rack and lock it.

Handing in your bike at the virtual checkpoint?

  • Return the bike within a close circle of the white BikeKIA logo and lock it.
